Principal's Message

All glory comes from daring to begin

Thoughts are the result of conversation of the soul with ourselves. This editorial is nothing but a voice of such thoughts. The day when I was appointed in-charge principal of KES' Jayantilal H. Patel Law College I was overwhelmed with joy but was also anxious about the responsibility handed over to me. My journey with KES family started in the year 2010 when I joined as a lecturer in the Department of Law in the Self Finance Course. I felt extremely delighted at the inception of Law college on 7th July 2012 and realized that the beginning is most important part of any work.

Law shapes politics, economics and society in countless ways and serves as the social mediator among the people. Therefore, demand for law has increased tremendously. Ever since the inception of this college, we are striving for excellence in imparting knowledge for the development of the all round personality of students pursuing a career in Law.

The high level of trust by the students and parents, the intellectual challenges of a curriculum that aims high and involves a regimen of constant invention, the satisfaction of knowing that I have been admitted to a profession motivates me the most.

All our knowledge and motivations has its origin in our perceptions. I believe that one can achieve success if, followed by passion and dedication. I am sure with this, I will be able to strive for excellence and march with the mission of intellectual development of students.

I am enormously excited that our college magazine is coming out and consider myself fortunate to be a part of this college. I extend my sincere thanks to the management of Kandivali Education Society for reposing faith in me to reign the responsibility of Law College.

I would like to extend my gratitude to the Principal of KES’ Shroff College, Dr. Mrs. Lily Bhushan who has been an inspiration for me. Her able guidance and contribution has been praiseworthy and valuable. I also thank the Vice-Principal Dr. V. S. Kannan for being a mentor and for sharing his ideas and expertise which has made this a rewarding and successful experience. I am also grateful to the teaching and non-teaching staff for their services rendered in running the law college smoothly.

A journey of thousand miles begins with one step
